Remedial courses are 8 hours long and held every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 5:50 p.m.
Remedial driving courses are mandated by the state of Ohio for the reinstatement of suspended licenses, court ordered, or for those who have between 2 and 11 points and need a 2 point credit.
A mandatory test is taken during the last hour of class. Students must score at least 75% or better to receive a certificate. All certificates are issued at the end of class in a sealed envelope following the test.
There is a $15 fee to re-issue certificates.
A valid form of I.D. is highly recommended but not required (State I.D. or Driver’s License )
The cost of the Remedial course is $70.
Classes start promptly at 9:00 am, so please arrive a few minutes early
to register for class.
You can also pre-register by stopping in during office hours or calling in
advance and leaving your name, license number, and date you plan to attend. Fee must be paid in advance.
Court Ordered Alcohol/Other Drug Assessments are also available. (Self-pay or sliding fee scale based on poverty index)
